Generally used as a reflective roof coating that repels the harmful effects of the sun’s rays on asphalt roofs and thus extends the life of those surfaces by retarding
the degradation of the asphalt. Reduces heat from roof surfaces and can potentially lower cooling costs. This material is commonly used as a reflective coating for
modified bitumen membranes, asphalt roofs and metal roofs. This coating is a rust inhibitor for metal surfaces.
mETHodS And RATE of APPLICATIon
Apply with brush, roller, or spray to sound, clean, dry surface. Apply at temperatures of 50ºF and rising. Use 1/3 gallon per 100 sq. ft. (.13 liters per M²) on metal
roofs. Use 1/2 gallon per 100 sq. ft. (.2 liters per M²) on asphalt or modified bitumen and 1 gallon per 100 sq. ft. (.4 liters per M²) on masonry. DO NOT THIN. DO NOT
APPLY TO ROOFS THAT POND WATER. Mechanically mix before use. COVER AIR INTAKES BEFORE APPLYIING AND WHILE CURING. DO NOT APPLY BEFORE IMPENDING
RAINFALL.
