This product is a premixed mastic, and like all mastics, it is ONLY for interior wall tile, not for floors.

Mastic cannot be used on floors because:

Floors require cement‑based thinset mortar, not mastic

Risk of tile loosening, cracking, or failure
This applies to all brands of mastic, including Weldwood, Bostik, Mapei, Henry, etc.

Why it is NOT suitable for vinyl
Weldwood Ceramic Tile Adhesive is a Type I mastic, designed specifically for ceramic wall tile, not vinyl.
Vinyl requires vinyl‑rated flooring adhesive, because:

Mastic does not bond to vinyl properly

Adhesive can soften, causing tiles to shift or pop up

Floors need flexible, moisture‑resistant vinyl adhesive

Mastic is for walls, not floors or vinyl surfaces
